All custom orders are non-refundable due to the customized nature of the items. If you are not 100% happy with your order, please reach out within 5 days of receiving your item via e-mail and I will be more than happy to address your concerns.
Custom orders will receive a mockup once an order on the website is placed that is to be approved by the customer prior to production of the item. Personalization will be done exactly as written out by you in the order, please provide me with as much information as possible with your order. For this reason, please triple and quadruple check the information you provide for each item in your order. Mockups are a representation of what the item will look like upon completion; please keep in mind this is to give you an idea of the overall design and may not be 100% what the physical item will look like upon completion. Computers and phones have different displays and colours may vary slightly from what is on the screen.
Pick up is available in Fort St. John. Porch pick up is available. Please note that the pick up area activity is recorded to protect both us and you. Unless otherwise discussed, all items must be picked up within 4 weeks of completion or items become the property of Take a Gander and may be sold or repurposed at that time.
Shipping is available at actual costs and solely at the buyer's expense. All items are shipped with Canada Post and a tracking number will be provided if the purchaser selects Priority Post or Xpresspost options on checkout. Items are only able to be shipped within Canada at this time. Items are carefully packaged, however once they leave our hands we are unable to have control over how they are handled. If Expedited or Regular Parcel are selected at checkout these items will not be trackable and Take a Gander is not responsible for any lost items. It is always in the customers best interest to select the one of the first two options.
If your item is received broken or damaged, please reach out as soon as possible [within 5 days] with a description of the damage as well as photos. Items that are shipped are insured, and in order to process the claim information and photos of the damage are needed. Items will be shipped to the address entered; if a package is returned due to an incorrect address, reshipping will again be the buyer's expense. No refunds will be provided under any circumstance in this situation. Once the item has been given to the post office, delays in receiving the item are outside of our control and we will not be held responsible.
Any correspondence between Take a Gander and the customer is deemed private and confidential.. Screen shots of any emails, social media messages or comments, text messages etc. shall not be posted on any public forum or website with the intent to slander or defame Take a Gander, its owner, its employees or any contracted supplier or manufacturer.
In addition, any screen shots taken from our website or social media pages that are taken and used with the intent to replicate is strictly prohibited and can result in copyright charges unless you have submitted a written request and it has been granted permission by the company.
